Agreed. He needs to see what caused damage to the Acorn DIR output. Miswired or a short....That's why I suggested he check his wiring.
Acorn's are thoroughly tested before leaving Centroid. Most common cause of damage is a mistake or mishap....

thanks, i have that info from the report.zip
what i was asking for is screen shots from the
clearpath software setup screen for each axis.
use the windows snipping tool. ,type 'snip" in the windows search to find it
consider using a google photo album for your project.

Axis 1 = X
Axis 2 = Y
Axis 3 = Z
Axis 4 = could be rotary or could be a paired axis. what are you trying to accomplish? need machine info/photos!

axis one was x but thats the one that would only move in one direction it is going on a bench mill 3 axis

common debug practice is to swap axis motor, swap cables, one at a time to isolate an issue.

is there a way to make the fourth axis the X axis drop down does not give me the option in the wizard

does the motor and drive you moved to the 4th axis work?
