DELTA ASDA A2 servos
Hi guys ,
I have problem with delta servos and Alarm (. AL020 )
I did set all parameters as it is in manual - https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersuppo ... ds/303.pdf
but this AL020 is popping up and stopping centroid with message DRIVE FAULT...
It is strange as motor turns when jogging for about a second when servo is not enabled, soonest as i enable servo it wont turn and DRIVE FAULT message pops up right a way.
Also when i tuned motors, motors were turning and tuning just fine both directions .
In Delta user manual it says, that this AL020 alarm is ( Serial Communication Time Out ) but we are not using RS-232 communication port.
I did check all cables and connectors and they are good, i did hook up another servo 1kW and same Alarm ... What am i missing ?
How can i bypass this alarm ?
Thank you

Re: DELTA ASDA A2 servos
or maybe is there any delta servo parameter output, to send signal if there is overload alarm ?
because if i unplug that signal which going to centroid , motors are working just fine

Re: DELTA ASDA A2 servos
reset the drive to the factory defaults using the built in reset feature.
then change just the delta setup parameters contained in TB303.

Re: DELTA ASDA A2 servos
Hi
I did all factory restart and changed all parameters as in TB303. same result. But now im thinking if centroid is done right , ive tried to make input 5 where deltas fault goes to normaly open by wizzard, now it is turning but not getting any fault of servo ...
Does anybody have screenshot of their ASDA A2 parameters so ive could compare ?

Re: DELTA ASDA A2 servos
Will this parameter file work for Oak too?
Build - Ctek VMC (Taiwan) + OAK + DELTA A2 Drives and servos + RICH VFD

Re: DELTA ASDA A2 servos
no, oak uses Delta Position Mode, Acorn uses Delta Step and Direction mode.
follow the Oak to Delta TB parameters settings for setting up Oak with Delta.

Re: DELTA ASDA A2 servos
Just finishing an Acorn 6 with 2kw A2 servos and a ABB VFD will have the control running soon , let you know how i go
