Hello,
I have been getting this error for a while. I can go for long periods of time with no errors then they suddenly appear. I removed the bulkhead connector, changed ethernet cable, went through the bulletin 270 items and made changes to the adapter settings, and appropriate Windows settings. I noticed that I occasionally get this error while testing a toolpath with the spindle off, so I don't think it is an EMI issue. I ran the small test routine and could not get an error. Any idea as to how to systematically test this further?
Thanks... Richard

Re: 432 Ethernet Communication Error
Just a quick update. Originally, I ran through the suggestions on Bulletin 270, performed the Stress Test and made the suggested tweaks to the Ethernet adapter power settings noted on the forum. I just remembered that windows indicated that the Ethernet adapter driver was up to date.
Just to leave no stones unturned, tonight I navigated through the Intel driver maze and updated the Ethernet adapter driver to the latest version dated 1/30/2022. I am not sure if this will make a difference, but I wanted to be certain I have done everything possible.
Thanks... Richard

Re: 432 Ethernet Communication Error
Your log report is littered with communication errors. Since you say you have the Intel network card have a look at this topic and change the windows settings for your network card and see if it helps.

Re: 432 Ethernet Communication Error
Try all setting in Speed and Duplex, maybe one works better than an other.
Change setting, powercycle Acorn and PC, run stress test.
My PC with Intel ist only working ok if I start Acorn first.

Re: 432 Ethernet Communication Error
Thanks Uwe. This problem is quite intermittent with the error sometime not appearing for quite some time. Experimenting with speed, duplex etc. would be my last attempt. Since I changed the driver to the most recent last night, from this point on, I will try starting Acorn 1st as you noted and see what happens.
Have a great Holiday... Richard

Re: 432 Ethernet Communication Error
Have you checked that Windows Antivirus stays off? On mine every time I start the machine its turned itself back on. I have to go shut it off and it stays off until the next re-start. When on it throws lots of Comms errors. I have set all the Group policies, etc. in Windows but it still turns back on. Might be worth a check?
Thx

Re: 432 Ethernet Communication Error
My one machine with the Intel network card I start the PC first and then power up the machine and it works every time with no communication errors. If I turn the machine on first I get random communication errors. Not sure why so I just learned to turn my PC on first on all my machines.
