Digital Machinist Magazine calls out to Acorn Users for case study articles. (they pay!)

A Magazine here in the US called Digital Machinist https://digitalmachinist.net/

Is soliciting case study articles on how parts are made.

They want to increase emphasis in the magazine to focus more on how parts are made start to finish.

I immediately thought of all the cool parts many of you have posted photos and videos of.

Case Study articles are not instruction manuals but do include key information on the process on how you made the part.

DM readers want to know. "how did you make that?, what was the machine used? what was the CNC control? what features of the machine and or control were used? what material? how did you hold it in the machine? what cutters were used? how was the part modeled (if at all)? how was the tool path G code created? what speeds and feeds were used? how is the machine setup for this? what features and accessories are needed to make this process work? etc..etc.."

George Bulliss at the magazine tells me a good article with lots of photos and details pays around $500.

pdf from the magazine with the details attached.
