Manual Jog Function in Acorn cnc

Post by DCAVCNC »

Hi. I'm having trouble with the manual jog functions

- I am using 2 HBS86 closed loop drivers on nema 34 closed loop motor for x and y axis and they both work fine.
-I am using a DM542A driver on nema23 open loop motor for my Z axis. Z+ works fine;
-Z- will stop working whenever I use a X- or Y- command before trying to go Z-.
-Z- will then work again as long as I go back and hit the X+ or Y+ manual jog buttons.

I am using the db25 to drive all axis. I did swap Z and Y axis control and the problem followed the changes. Am I allowed to use two different drives?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

share how you have them wired. are you using drive enable signals? and how are you using them etc.. and post a fresh report.zip so we can see your settings.
