I have tried to upgrade to the newer CNC 12 4.80 and all I can get is windows tell me is windows cannot access to the drive, path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

Not sure what to do here. I check and my login has admin rights. I tried to run as a administrator as well and I keep getting the same.
I rebooted the computer as well.
I been using 4.5 a long time at this point.

Do have updated windows, if not please do so before 4.8 installation.

Did you make a fresh install, old folder renamed or moved in an other directory ?

Trying to do a fresh install.. renamed the cncm folder to cncm-working 450

I do not get a setup.exe file in the extracted

There is only one *.exe file in the zip.

Copy this from the zip to the desktop and run it.

Maybe try an other download.

Are you downloading the .zip file using a Mac? Download using a PC only. As Uwe stated, there's only ONE file in the .zip file and it's the .exe file. Are you downloading from here?

Yes that is where is was downloaded from. The instruction said to click on the setup.exe file, I only get one file, but it is not that. It is a installer file.

It was from a windows computer.
