Techno isel lathe my first build

Post by cncman2001 »

Hello I'm new to the cnc retrofit / upgrade process. Here are a few pictures of my lathe. I received my acorn this week. Before I start removing changing things in the machine, I want to make sure to have a clear direction and proper equipment. I will be trying to use as much of the original components as possible. Guess where do I start, all I got as of now is the lathe, Acorn, and laptop pc. Thanks

That's a great machine. I've done one of them and a good friend of mine has done one as well.

For starters I would

- Create a Google photo album and put all kinds of photos in that photo album. Then as you take more pictures you can keep adding to that album and it'll stay the same link at the same location through the out the entire process. The more photos you post in that album the better answers you will get on the forum.

- Read the acorn installation manual front to back before starting anything.
