just bought a old bridgeport that was cnc converted . it has old centriod motors on it was hoping someone could id these and let me know if theyd work with the new acorn controllers

That looks like the 1350 oz/in motor that had a maximum current of 10A. ACORN doesn't include stepper drives. A stepper drive is needed between the ACORN and motor.

was looking at the acorns controller and says it can run the step motors . do you know what kinda drive id need for those motors?

look at leadshine drives or gecko drives, send them specs on the motor and they will recommend a drive that works with it.
