Made a custom base for an natural sharpening stone.

No CAM used, but the old Centroid Mold Magic, that is easy and fast for such kind of job.

By the way mold magic runs with Win10 too.

It is a great tool for jobs like this, under 60s work to generate an inverted file with different diameter mill an with roughing and finishing.

Had some air cuts, but better 5min air cuts as working hours with meshmixer and fusion

Air cuts came because my probing depth was deeper than the cut i needed...

I found a post with a link to the Mold Magic Program https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic. ... gic#p57914
Any words of wisdom before I load it up and try it?

we need to free up some programmer time to rewrite that great program! I use Rhino to make curve offsets now but would be nice to have an updated version of Mold Magic... After AcornSix and Hickory! ;)
