In the Acorn software I have to choose which driver for the steppermotor to use.
I own steppermotors of type JSS57p3n with built-in driver.
Can anyone tell me which driver I need to set pleace?

Hello, you are not required to select any of the drive configurations in the list. You can simply create your own custom drive type as you set up the motor and parameters.

That said, you’ll want to start by selecting “bench test db25” and wiring that motor up similar to a generic Leadshine stepper motor. You will wire it to the DB25 and NOT the screw terminals. Start by wiring up ONLY ONE MOTOR at a time and get it working. Wire the PUL and DIR connections only to start with and see if you get motor movement. Typically the drive is ENABLED by default and you will not need to wire up the ENA terminals. You can wire up the ALM signal if you want to after you get it working. Start with the pulse/rev set at 1600 on the motor and in the Acorn wizard. In the “advanced” page in the Wizard set the “step rate” to 100,000. This should get you moving and you can refine your settings as you move along.
