invisibe panel control with new version 4.80

I installed the new version 4.80 and the control panel does not appear.
this all worked with the previous vesion .

Your screen resolution is set to 1366 x 768 but is recommended to be 1920 x 1080 for correct display.

Whilst writing, your CPU single core benchmark is just 1112 which is well below the recommended 1500

thanks but i also tested it on a recent pc with the recommended specs but the problem is the same.. i reinstalled the 4.64 version and it works fine.

Did you made a fresh install with Acorn 4.80, that means the old \cnc folder renamed or deleted and do not use restore report?

I did a clean full install on another laptop with version 4.80 and the settings I captured on the screen. it does not work …. I read on the forum that another user had the same problem.

Using a laptop and one that does not meet the minimum specs is a double whammy, Centroid does not offer support for laptops. The PC is probably the cheapest component of a CNC build, why not buy the proper PC so you can get free support from Centroid?

I updated my Acorn plasma today to 4.80 with zero issues but I'm using a PC that meets the minimum specs set to the recommended resolution that's not a laptop. I also did a manual update as you cannot restore a report from a different version of CNC12. Good luck.

Post a screen shot of the display with the taskbar visible. Is the VCP just running minimized?

I think it is an issue with your WIN10 setup.

On several 4.80 installs I never have had this problem. PCs were always configured for CNC use.

I did not change pc but we found the solution by changing the regional language to English and version 4.82 works.
