Hello all,
I am trying to bench test my newly purchased acorn board. I am struggling to get the PC and Board to communicate correctly. The ping test results are confusing me. See photo.
I have checked and confirmed that the firewall etc are all switched off.
I have swapped the ethernet cable.
Any suggestions on what I could try next?
TIA David.

Re: New user comms error
Hi, I have sorted this out now and normal comms have been established. During the initial set up I inadvertently assigned the static IP address to the wrong Ethernet adapter. I went on to assign the static IP (10.168.41.1) to the correct adapter without correcting my original error. Therefore, I introduced a clash. I changed the incorrect address to an alternative and the problem was sorted.
Happy days.

Re: New user comms error
glad you figured it out.. also new for v4.80 is the next level com test.. 'stressTest.cnc' located in the ncfiles directory. run that to confirm you really have a good connection.
