unplugg everything, do a fresh install of v4.80 read the install instructions (it will auto back up your existing install)
then bench test the spindle functionality using the Acorn install manual.
Question:
Is there any parameter i can change to remove the feature where it doesnt allow the spindle to turn on if it thinks the probe is tripped?
If i cant figure out the problem, at least fix the symptoms < easiest is to pull the probe inputs out of the Wizard input screen, or untrip and unplug the probe you can do that with the Alt i screen as described in the video. and yes you can edit the plc program if you don't want probe/spindle protection>
thanks
update: im not totally convinced it is a problem with the probe inputs. if i have the probe plugged in, it wont let me start the spindle and displays error 9034 FAULT REMOVE PROBE FROM SPINDLE
however, in the stuck state im getting, it displays no such error, just wont let the spindle turn on
