Hey Uwe
that you can see my machine too.
it's really fun to watch all the action.
on my machine not only on your machine
Hihi
I ordered a license today, hope it comes tomorrow.I want to mill real parts, not just contours, 50kb is not enough.
I look forward to tomorrow
Here are my first tests
Gruss Stephan

Today I milled a star.
please excuse me for forgetting to hold the camera on it.
I will film next time if it should be interesting
A question for Uwe.I plan milled that was of course totally stupid but I wanted to see if it works.
What is the Accel Decel time for.
What does the?
I just notice that if I do this less time I get worse results.
thank you or you

thank you again uwe for the inspiration to the conversion

I always have to laugh and shake my head at the same time when my machine is running

Cool, looks like a star challenge for lathes :D

I got a fusion 360 license yesterday ;)

Wow. I thought you were a dyed in the wool hand coder!

Be aware that if you hope to run 4th axis moves on a milling machine using Fusion 360, you can only use indexed moves ie no true simultaneous 4th axis moves. Unless you cough up for the ruinously expensive "extensions".

I'm looking forward to seeing how you exploit Fusion, now that I have my Acorn controlled lathe running!

Ha Uwe
you're funny...... smile
Who should participate ?
In the DIY area, I only know you and I who have such a machine that can do it
If you do one more, the challenge will be over
smile

I checked out your new driven tool
actually it would even be possible that you also hang an encoder on it
then you could switch between the encoders with a couple of relays
then you could even cut threads with the driven tool
would be an idea

have fun with fusion so you can turn and mill any shit you want
hehe

Hi Stefan,

I use the build in encoder of the JMC servo, this works great ;)

I am using CAD/Cam since 30 years in my job, but like at home only if it is faster than hand coding or Intercon ;)

Sure this is better for organic shapes like this.

Should work to mill a star with C-axis....

But must tweak a PP for milling with negative X values.
