He has certainly raised the bar around here about what you can do on a lathe.

If you look at a Centroid A560 doing headporting, my stuff is low level ;)

Only some reverse engineering of Polyform (a feature on Traub CNC lathes since 1986) and 1000 years old math from Abu Nasr Mansur :mrgreen:

With Acorn we got top level motion control on a DIY budget, so lets do something with it....

Uwe is getting so much accomplished is such a short amount of time it must be a rainy cold summer in Germany. :lol:

Actually it is the opposite here in my part of Germany. We are in a drought and unusually hot this summer. But you should still ban Uwe! :lol:

I made today a new live tooling for the lathe driven by an AC Servo, not so noisy like the Makita and ER20 collets.

Cleanout in Intercon is a very fast and handy tool for 2.5D milling.
