Hi all,
I have recently branched out to line boring and I am now using my lathe for making bushings to press in. The inside of these bushes have an elliptical groove (sort of like a figure 8) that allows the grease to fill around the pin. I was wondering if there was a way to achieve this with intercon as I have never had to use cad/cam and I don’t really want to go through that grief if I can avoid it. I know about thread cutting, I do that often but I was hoping to groove the elliptical shape in one process.
