I can't say if it's because of the beta, because i haven't done that with the stable release yet, but:

the spindlebenchtest.cnc doesn't work as described in the manual.

After loading the spindlebenchtest.cnc and pressing cycle start, the screen blacks out and it states "Line #16" at the top of the screen.

From there, i can't do ANYTHING anymore. Stop, Start, nothing happens, the black-screen seems to block everything.


Without the spindlebenchtest.cnc started, CNC12 itself seems to work, can jog, can home, can start spindle and even throws the correct voltage at the 0-10V-header.
Hope this helps and it's not me again^^

Thanks. The spindle bench test is intended to be running without runtime graphics running. Just switch to the G-Code view and it works.

Hello I tried to install this version but the virtual control panel on the right does not want to install

I've seen Windows defender block the VCP. open it and make exception for the VCP

Maybe this can be mentioned in the manual?
I suppose, the spindlebenchtest will be used by beginners most of the time.
Beginners, that often don't know much about RTG and such stuff yet.

we have modified the spindle bench test so it will work with RTG, i'll post a v4.80 release candidate soon that will have this improvement.

also, make sure the CNCPC Windows is set to "Run as Administrator"

i'll be posting another build here shortly. beta should be good for 40 days.
you can also change the date on the cnc pc to buy time
