Hello all
I have a Lead1515 just finished building and I've noticed my gantry movements (rapid) are fairly slow even in rabbit mode ..
I have NEMA24 on all axis and I would have thought a rapid would move quiet a lot quicker than it is. Currently if I MDI a G0 move from Y0 to Y1250 it takes a good 40-50 sec .. (I haven't timed it exactly)
Settings for the CL57Y are standard, drivers have 48v ...
What am I missing?? would have thought G0 movement over that distance would have taken a couple of seconds at most
Reason why I'm asking is that my fixed tool touch off arrived, and I was hoping to mount it top left corner. But at the rate my gantry moves, it'll take me half a day for each tool change.
I've attached my latest report if that will shed any light on whats going on
What would effect the speed of stepper motors

Re: What would effect the speed of stepper motors
You have fast jog and max rate set to 1270mm/min, try to increase this till the steppers are stalling. 6000mm/min should work, maybe more.
