Hello
almost all the errors are fixed.
Only remaining a limit switch, that is a proximity switch.
Originaly the machine had a PNP-NO instaled 3 wires. But did not work. The input was always either on or off depending on the wiring.
Reading the limit switches wiring diagram at the OAK instalation manual, it seems that the proximity switch must be NC.
I just can not find out if it must be PNP or NPN?
If the sensor must receive -24 and the 1-4 imputs common is +24 then I think that the sensor must be 3 wires NPN NC. Or not?
Thanks in advance
Rui

The prox sensors Must be NPN. They can be NC or NO, either works as well as the other, but NC adds a bit of security against a broken wire if that's important to you. It seldom is to me unless it is a high end system. DIY routers and small mills seldom are that high end

Well almost after a complete year of ordering it it finally showed up.the pm940v . my conversion is done and ready to be added to the machine, or should I say in my electronics are basically complete ready to be added to the machine, Delivery driver with his pallet jack brought it all the way to the edge of my driveway in which I have patio pavers after that so I lay down some plywood and use 25 foot three-quarter inch PVC pipes and rolled it all the way to the garage

Finally got it up on the stand and clean some of the packaging grease off of it going slow as I have 100 other things happening right now but it’s moving along trying to finish an addition on my garage as well

Today I finally got around to taking the table off boring the whole out for the Y ball screw, just working on getting the ball screws and all that mounted first and then I’ll attach the electronics wondering if anybody else is doing this conversion if they thought about cutting the base another inch or so in the center allowing the ballscrew to come forward even more so you get the full 15 or so plus inches of travel????
Also I managed to break one of the Zirk fittings does anybody know the exact size and thread of these things I want to say it’s probably in 1/8 pipe but I’m not positive??

Well I decided just go ahead and clearance it for much more travel in the y 2 inches at least I cut 2 inches out of the base

Well here are a few more pictures of the process. XNY went in as planned once I cut and modified the base. as far as the z goes i have to dismantle quite a bit in order to get to the nut on the bottom of the Z screw to take all that mechanism and hand crank out. I got all that out and slowly started putting in the Arizona Cnc Z ball screw and it seems as though you have to drill and tap this one yourself and there’s no template or instructions on how to do any of it sure would be nice for the price of the kit that he couldn’t include some simple instructions!
