I need the exact type of the motor to have a look at its torque curve.

My mill is smaller, but 660 oz.in with 2:1 reduction was to weak for decent speeds, now I have 1700 with 2:1

but not direkt comparable because I have steppers.

Anyway the error is torque limit. Maybe you can run auto tune at slower speed?

At the fastest speed it’s still like super slow when I was manually moving it to set the scale for the tuning! if I go any slower it seems like it’ll be there all day long!

When I put it in basically the default mode so that I can use the pendant and move it with my hand it moves freely all the way up and down I even backed out the Gibbs cruise pretty much all the way moved it up and down freely then I re-tighten them pretty much as tight as I could and I got it to stop once it found all the way at the very very very top and then when I put them back in to anywhere relatively normal position no problem at all but then when I go to run the tune it won’t do it

Than ask Teknic if there are options to run the autotune...

Hopefully it’s just some kind of simple settings menu

Well late last night after getting home I did the auto tune on my x axis everything went smooth it worked great and when powering the motor or controlling the motor through the USB using MSP Clearpath software I can get the machine to run fast like pretty fast I would say but then when you go back into normal mode running it off of the wireless pendant it is back to moving pretty slow it says it’s 200 inches a minute but there’s no way

Holy hell maybe somebody that’s doing this right now or has already done this could quickly guide me through some of it I’m trying to hook the VFD up to my acorn through the p.m. 940 V I’m looking through the 400 pages of manual for the VFD that’s online and I can see obviously the spindle forward reverse and common but the rest of it pretty much doesn’t make any sense on the VFD side obviously I know where they go on the acorn side and I’ve made an eight wire harness to go from one box to the other but the little green box in the picture I really can’t find any information that tells me what they are outside of the forward and reverse I still need to know the VFD reset the 0 to 10 V DC divert 0 to 10 VDC common the common and the spindle OK ??? any help would be much appreciated and yes I have tried I’ve been looking for the past two days to get some clear information on this
