Everything Marty is saying is do you want to stay away from the multi point touchscreens, Is the screen you bought a multitouch or single point

You may not have a choice. Resistive single point touch screens are better than consumer grade capacitive touchscreens.
I have heard some have had good luck with Planar. Search Touchscreens on this forum.
Alternative is go get a Widescreen 1080p monitor and buy the wireless MPG to get you going....

Well you can order of the TD2210 online supposedly it has an ETA of February 15,at 345$ shipped ,honestly aside from the sonic view TD2210 I can’t find anything that’s listed as single point touchscreen monitor. And yes Marty I did search the search bar for both the sonic view and the planar , no real models suggestions or current input. I mean truthfully I guess if you get the wireless pendant , I guess the touchscreen would only be used for jogging through Pages and editing functions and not used to move the mill. I guess that would be OK. I’m just sure a lot of you are a lot more computer guru-ish than I am I guess I’m just looking for a couple exact models for me to pack or one model and I can pick it this is the last items I need for my conversion. I saw a couple using the Azus monitors does anybody have any input on what model those are?

I guess where I’m lost is really what is the need for the touchscreen if you have the wireless Pandant?, is the idea just so you don’t have a keyboard and mouse add the machine computer? I mean ideally you’d have your machine screen along with a keyboard and mouse close by the machine so you can click on settings and open up different parameters and adjust them? What is the real use of the touchscreen?

With the Wireless MPG, you find less use for the Touchscreen. That's what I am saying.Vwfan wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 10:51 am I guess where I’m lost is really what is the need for the touchscreen if you have the wireless Pandant?, is the idea just so you don’t have a keyboard and mouse add the machine computer? You need a keyboard. I use the small Logitech K400+ with touch pad you can by from Amazon:

And a silicone keyboard skin:

Download Logitech Options and change the top row media keys back to F-keys and you are good to go

Oh OK awesome well then I guess I’ll just get the whole touchscreen idea out of my head for now, i’ll go with that keyboard on the silicone cover, seems as though most wide screen 21 or 22 inch or somewhere between 150 and 200 does that seem like a OK price or should I search for something cheaper

Go to your local Goodwill store. Look for a widescreen monitor perhaps....
