Stepper Motor Rattling at High Speeds
I recently got a centroid to control a stepper motor (CL57T controller w/ 24hs40-5004d-e1000 motor), but I can't push the RPMs past 500 without the motor seizing up. Also, even at manageable speeds I am seeing a lot of rattling leading me to believe the pulses being sent aren't matching what the motor needs. I have tried modifying every parameter between the Centroid and the CL57T without any luck. Has anyone else had this issue? I need to boost my speed but am not able to do it with any parameter I can change in the Acorn Wizard

Re: Stepper Motor Rattling at High Speeds
hi, how do you know that the motor is going 500 rpm?

Re: Stepper Motor Rattling at High Speeds
Have you tried to run the driver with the Leadshine Pro Tuner software?
Good way to analyze which is the max rpm of the motor, but should be over 2000 if the motor is wired correctly to the driver.

Re: Stepper Motor Rattling at High Speeds
if it is a stepper motor, make sure your A+ A- B+ B- are wired correctly. dont just go off of color code because it is often wrong
this sounds a lot to me like the phases arent working correctly
