Bulkman3D Laser

Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to connect laser from Bulkman3D that came with my WorkBee router. It has power supply, driver and laser itself. Looks like the laser has only two-contact for TTL to accept the command signal. See pics attached. Should I simply connect them to OUTPUT 2 on Acorn board and see if it works? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have a manual for this?

No manual. And I cannot locate anything on Bulkman3D resources web page.

WE need a manual in order to help you properly. Anything else is just a guess.
Can you call them? Do they have a support line? No schematics that came with your machine?

Just sent a request for documentation to Bulkman3D with a little hope to get anything. I doubt they will provide any sort of schematics. Moreover, I do not see any connections to either laser or the driver for additional inputs/outputs. So, any creative ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

If you get nowhere, consider replacing the laser module. I have had good luck with the NEJE20 module and there is a schematic for it. Stick with something that has been proven to work with Centroid.

Marty, I finally got an answer from Bulkman3D. They suggest to connect TTL input to PWM of the board. That's it. I tried to do that and it seems to be powering the laser ok. I was able to run M3S command in MDI. But, it is completely disconnect the spindle, so I reverted back to the original setup and disconnected the laser.
I looked at the suggested NEGE20 laser and it looks exactly the same. So, I think I can connect the laser power through the Acorn relay for Enable command and somehow do it in parallel with the spindle work. I will keep trying and report back my success/failure story. Thank you for your support.

Yes, suggest you follow the lead of the NEJE20 schematic and it associated outputs and give that a test. Remember to wear the appropriate safety glasses for that wavelength laser.
