i want to connect my integrated jmc servos motor`s which operate like a simple stepper motor/drive with an Step(+/-),Direction(+/-) and an Enable(+/-) Signal. Which Drive Type should i use in the Acorn Wizard?
this is the connection diagramm but i don`t want to use/connect the PED and ALM.

Interested to know this as well. My new machine that is on the way will be running these. (I would run the Alarm however).

yes i think i connect the alarm too. I found this about wiring the alarm on JMC`s (in german):
but it seems simple:
Alarm reset via a relay (output) would be simple and sweet.

Not to get us too far away from the correct answer, there are other schematics posted that have similar drives and hookup. Those all use the Step Dir Enable, and Alarm. I will DM you the one I am talking about so you can at least look at it.

Those motors are 5v logic and should be hooked to the DB25 via a breakout board. Wire them like a generic Leadshine following diagram S14976. If you get no movement then you can wire up the enable lines and try again. I don't know if they are enabled by default or not. Post the drive model number and a link to the manual if you want more help.

JMC iHSV are 4.4-24V Pul/Dir/Ena and 8mA max on ALM Ped so you should use 1kOhm 5V or 4.7kOhm 24V for ALM and Ped
Try to get them with newest software Version 604

yes you`re right, instead of the information from the video the max for the PED and ALM is not 25mA, its 8mA! .. So the internal resistor of 1.2kOhm on the Input side is not enough and must be added with an second resistor. I Will choose an 2kOhm resistor to get an total of 3.2kOhm and an max of 7.5mA

also a good idea... but 1 major failure and the question why using the DB25 connector for Step and direction instead of the screw terminals like the enable signal!?
the failure are hidden in the +5V of the Alarm... at 5V you need a resistor before the relay board with an minimum of 625Ohm... so i would take an 1kOhm resistor for being safe.
