Are there any menus that let you see where your cutter location is?
So in MACH3 I was able to open the graph and look and see where my cutter cross hair was. I was able to move my X,Y. When I set the Zero and manually moved the X and Y I was able to verify that the cut location was proper by checking different places of my workpiece. I have not been able to find this option anywhere in CNC12PRO/Digitizing bundle. How do I find this? Or is this not a feature?
Im not talking about running the cycle and it showing while its cutting, I'm talking about spindle off and moving around the workpiece that is to be cut prior to cutting

Also why is machine home never saved and you need to do it every time you start CNC12PRO

I think the best we have is the Graph Feature (F8, I think).
You could change your settings, so the machine will not need to home each time.

Run time graphics does what you want. From the main screen press F4 -run toggle RTG on and off with the space bar

I think what the OP is asking is to be able to view a backplot of the current loaded program while manually jogging the machine around and having the screen display a crosshair overlay on the backplot of the current jogged cutter position.centroidsupport wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:13 am Run time graphics does what you want. Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

press Graph, Zoom out and you can see the center location of the G code.
the DRO (Digital Read Out) tells you the position of the center of the tool.
