Kitamura Mycenter Retrofit and slant bed lathe.

Post by TheWatchMker »

i got a few machines today for next to nothing.

I got a Okuma LB25 and im going to retrofit it, i think... Question is it reasonable to think i can add live tooling to it?

The Mycenter1 and 3b im thinking about doing retrofits too. Are the yellow cap motors worth keeping or should i upgrade the servos to?

Pictures/descriptions of the machines and their control cabinets would be helpful without having us having to google the model numbers and try and find out for ourselves.
Model numbers of axis drives, and servo motors, spindle drives spindle hp etc

I would thing OAK or All in One DC might be better than Acorn but without more information, we can't make better suggestions.
