DIG3d 17-24V/3mm Probe problems <3rd party probe> (SELF RESOLVED)

Hello, I have a DIG3d 17-24V/3mm probe I am trying to install.

I read both the Acorn Install doc and the Probe Install Doc and watched Marty'scncgarage video relating to the touch probe config. However, after 3 days of fiddling I cannot get it to work.

My touch probe stylus unit has 3 wires.
Yellow/Green is a 24v
Blue is a COM
BLACK is output

I tried to wire it how Marty had his. Using the COM port towards the corner of the acorn board
Connect the YELLOW/GEREN 24v wire to the IN7 input
connect Black wire to the IN6 (probe detect)

I thought placing the Probes "Output" wire in the Probe Detect would be correct?

I have literally tried most combos of swapping these around and cant figure it out. *Shoots Signal Flare* Hallllp! haha

P.S. I attached what the manufacturer of the touch probe digitizer sent me as far to wiring, but it never would trip the probe when i would manually move the stylus. I replied him back with the second photo where I used colors for the wiring and he said that it also worked with how I drew it. But its not working. My Schematic by the way is the one with a square that says "PROBE" in yellow

I've read it over and tested it about 10000000 times in the last 4 days.

I only read it once. Connect the probe output wire to probe triggered. Probe detect simply tells the system a probe is connected

Where would you recommend the other 2 wires go to?

I assume the YELLOW/GREEN goes to 24V in that is jumped from "H4 24IN" to H9 24VDC (port2)
and the BLUE wire just goes to port 4 on the H9 Set

Run the yellow/green to the 24v terminal on your power supply or terminal block and the blue goes to the negative side or COM on the power supply. Don’t try and wire the power signals to the Acorn board terminals. All your doing is applying 24v to the probe, it’s not best practice to piggy back power for external devices from the Acorn inputs. Wire the black as Gary stated to what ever input you have setup at probe triggered. Does the probe power up? I assume there are LEDs on the probe for a visual indication.

My question, The guide (Page2, number 2) says that NC probes require a "Probe detect" input.

Have you wired a Probe Detection circuit?
Like the "Poor Man's" switch on page 7?

when you say the wire is com, are you sure it is com 24v? A lot of devices use common ground

also to my knowledge a yellow green wire is usually the ground wire. i would check that

COM is common on the DC power supply and common ground as they are tied together.

As for wire colors, this is a Chinese probe, there's no telling what color wire does what without their diagram, they don't follow the "usual" wiring practices like you think.

Strongly suggest you get your machine running before tackling the probe
Stay with ONE build thread please.....
ALWAYS POST FRESH REPORTS WITH YOUR QUESTIONS. I absolutely CAN NOT Emphasize this enough.

I can appreciate your frustration. But jumping around, not following the Acorn installation guide until the machine itself is properly configured and functioning and jumping around is only going to add to your frustrations...
