Re: Ether1616 Shorts Powersupply
From your thermal video, you can see heat hit the Transient Voltage Suppression diode (TVS1) next to the diode (D1) A few measurements with a multimeter would pinpoint the fault. the Cap, Diode, or drop resister could be shorted. Ether way its a RMA.

Yeah I RMAd it this morning, the replacement was picked up by courier and installed this afternoon. Coming along smoothly.
