I took 1.5 seconds out the reverse, works better.

Hopefully this thread has every stupid question asked by me already so the next guy has it to hand but i will also do a write up with my photos to finish it off.

Considering I've never even wired a relay in before this its been a good project to expand my electronics knowledge all in all.
Not stupid at all. You persevered and made it to the end!
Marty

Nicely done!
What axis motors did you end up using?

Done 200 threads today, worked flawlessly, very happy with the Centroid product.

The machine comes with "MAE HY 200-3424-310 A8" steppers which were functional so we decided to stick with them and see what happens. Denford usually paint over the stickers so i was lucky a chap on the Denford forum made a passing comment to another one of my questions with the motor type, i think they might of forgot to paint over his stepper motors stickers by chance.

My Father found the tech spec of the MAE stepper motors, they are legacy and don't come up on google searches with much relevant information, I've attached the document. The Mirac's stepper motors are on page 8 and page 14 for future reference. Page 14 is the important one with the colour codes of the wires.

Hopefully that helps the next guy, took me weeks to find that information.
