Hello,
First, sorry if these are stupid questions... wiring this up is a bit new to me, however I think this is the last problem I have (at the moment).
I have a G0768Z that I am converting to CNC. I think I have everything ironed out with the exception of one thing.. the spindle.
I bought a Lichuan 600W servo kit for the spindle (per a video I saw where someone else has done so, but they used a PoKeys setup). The A4 drive has the 0-10V analog signal, so I could use that... but if I do so, does that mean it cannot be run in the opposite direction?
I bought a board from CNC4PC that helps break the pins out (C34LS) and the signals made available are typical step and direction pins for a driver. Can I connect that to one of the axis and somehow designate that as a spindle?
Admittedly, I haven't gotten the software setup yet... I am focused on the wiring right now, but I'm stuck on this little problem as I am not sure the best way to approach this. Any thoughts/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Sorry.. here you go (for the A4 driver) - http://servo.xlichuan.com/Private/Produ ... 131150.pdf
This is the board I have from CNC4PC to connect to CN3 on the driver - https://www.cnc4pc.com/pub/media/produc ... MANUAL.pdf

This will give you +/- 0 to 10VDCyanzickp wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 2:51 am Hello,

Re: Lichuan A4 Servo for Lathe Spindle
You have to set the driver to speed mode and use DI5 to change direction since Acorn gives only 0-10V analog. PA_006 must be set to 2
Inputs on the driver can be switched with the relay bord from Acorn
