E stop gecko 540

E stop gecko 540

Wired e stop as per gecko drive only schematic , with stop in nc position g540 green lite on controller , but acorn screen shows red estop . Push e stop in , showes red on g540 , green on acorn screen , no jogging in either condition . New install

Problem was that the e stop switch had 1-no 1 nc switches on it , instead of 2 nc switches.

Odd but OK. I guess that gives you an "either or" choice for a PLC input but I'll always be in the NC camp. If a wire breaks or device fails, it's a fault condition.
