Yes it was perfectly functioning thats why im trying to get it back 'online' haha. max speed was 24000 so ill enter that in. What should I put for the minimum speed? It was default at 300martyscncgarage wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 9:36 amWas this a functional machine before?shreddedcurbs wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 11:16 pm Ok great. Are there any good write ups on how to configure your spindle? I have the specs from my cnc manufacturer but I can't really figure out what I need to put in the wizard. If you know any good posts on here, or videos Id be more than happy to check them out.
Do you know what the max RPM was in the last control?
If so, you enter that RPM in the SPINDLE TAB in the Wizard. High range.

Thanks! There are label makers that can print in heat shrink tubing. I have one called Rhino 4200 I believe it's made by Dyno. Reasonable cost (I found mine on eBay) and labels are readily available on Amazon

There are several options for wire identification and each have their pros and cons. There's the heat shrink labels that Marty mentioned and there are also wire wrap labels that are popular. Search "wire labels" and you'll have plenty of reading with your favorite beverage in hand.

That's dependant on your spindle motor. What kind is it? What are it's specs? Pictures? Label in the motor?shreddedcurbs wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 2:49 amI meant the CNC12 Wizard had 300 as defaultmartyscncgarage wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 9:26 pmThen enter 300shreddedcurbs wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 8:04 pm

Got touch probe functioning.
Spindle still will not spin. I am not sure why. Everything seems to be wired up correctly, or at least I think it is.
