It is not a good idea or recommended to disassemble your pc and put it inside the electrical cabinet. Too many things can go wrong. Just buy a HP or Lenovo micro pc, they are less money than the cost of the enclosure posted by Uwe.

HeHe maybe I understand it wrong, I thought it was meant to put the CNC control parts in a PC Tower, not the PC parts like the main board in the cabinet

LOL Uwe, that’s the way I understood the translation anyway.

Dismantling the pc is a bad idea and can introduce even more problems not to mention a bunch of work when micro pc’s are so cheap these days. Not sure why anyone would do this.

You can save A LOT of space using something like the HP ProDesk 600 G3 Mini computer. They are tiny, much smaller than even taking your PC apart. They can be purchased on Amazon and eBay very cheap. Many guys use the Lenovo also which is a similar form factor.

Cant wait to see your machine up and running.
