One motor connected to acorn with software running ok.
Start software, motor began moving.

Did this with Marcus as well, trying each drive and motor combination with the same results.

I don't have that problem. Works as expected
Was this before or after my testing?

You need to do as drdennis suggested. Back WAY and start working the the basics.

The 201 drives work fine. I have started at the beginning 3 times in the past 4 months with 2 different iterations of the drives.

Have no idea where to look, what to try, that I haven't already. I have also rewired everything step by step about 10 times. I have also replaced the Beagle bone and reflashed the software.

Marcus thought it may be an Acorn programming issue and suggested Centroid look into it.

So it looks like this problem will not be resolved. I will be removing the drives and switch back to the 201s.

This fellow is using GR214V, and has motion. (His problem is VFD noise) viewtopic.php?p=56714#p56714

Sorry to disagree with you. There is no issue that I can see running GR214Vs and good stepper motors with Acorn.

Continued luck to you with your project.

I don't see that is the VFD. It is in a separate cabinet and wasn't powered when I ran the tests.

No, my point is the other guy says he has his three axis moving under Acorn and GR214V . HE has and Emo problem, not you.....

No. I demonstrated the the GR214V works fine with Acorn and only pointed out that it appeared another user had the same drives and 3 axis moving under Acorn control.

Why would 201s work and 214s not work. I have a revision 2 that works but 3 revision 3s that do not.
