Can anyone please tell me how to set up the limit switches to use as home switches as well? I had everything working fine using soft limits but somehow it is now not stopping before the switch and powers through smashing the switch out of the way. The switches were set as home switches but they are positioned as a limit switch on axis so can really be either, just don't know how to configure home to a limit switch and not the home switch.

I would love to know how to check that soft limits are enabled as I think they may be turned off going from the machines behaviour but it would also be nice to have the mechanical switch working as a safety in case this happens again.

Once you sort this out it's advisable to mount home/limit switches so a flag passes in front of the proximity switch or a tab that rides up on to a mechanical switch rather than moving directly at the switch. You want the flags/tabs on the moving part to be able to simply pass the switch and run into a hard stop if there's an issue. It's not "best practice" to mount home/limit switches so they are in harms way.
