Need help with wiring

Post by kford1953 »

I have A rattm motor 2hSS57 hybrid servo driver by l-star motor the motor model is a 57hse76-2n-d25 they were sold as a kit. I can't find any wiring diagrams to hook this up to my acorn controller. I have the bench test all done and is good. Just need some help with wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Follow diagram S14976 and wire it as a Leadshine clone. Search the forum for 2HSS57 and you'll see other posts and topics as well.

There's the first problem. Why did you use that diagram when I suggested S14976? You probably have the alarm and enable lines hooked up and this is causing the issue. Follow the diagram for S14976, do not wire up the enable or alarm connections. When you ask for help please at least try what others suggest to you first before you go another route. It'll save you and others a lot of time and headaches.

Get ONE axis moving and then copy that wiring to the next drive and then the 3rd (and 4th if there is a 4th). You can always come back and wire the alarm circuit when you understand things better.

As for the LED, read the manual for the drive and it'll explain what the led means in the troubleshooting section. We can't possibly know what it means either without the manual.

The more information you can provide, the better suggestions we can make. Have you read the Acorn installation manual?
