2 Acorn Boards, one WMPG

Post by Mathes »

Hello All,

ist this possible to use one WMPG with two receivers for a mill and lathe?

I never use both machines at the same time.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Kind regards

Mathias

1) Have you found a source to purchase a stand alone receiver?

2) Can you find another receiver with the same code number?

My guess is that if both above are yes, it would work.

I think that a USB switch would work if the computers are not too far apart. Search for USB Switch on Amazon, most will allow 2 computers to attach to 2 to 4 usb devices, such as the rf antenna and maybe a thumb drive for storage of files etc.

Why not simply plug the receiver in the other computer?
