Made first carve with centroid...

Post by Dhaffner »

After having to learn more about wiring my old high inductance motors than I realized...and amazing help from people here (Gary, Marty and several others), I brought the old shopbot back to life better than ever. I was asked to make a sign for a boy coming into the world any day. I went with the pro version of cnc12, I designed it in Vectric aspire (saved toolpaths as centroid -inch.cnc). After watching it carve..I stained and painted this first piece. It's a gift, so no money...but having the machine up and running is payment enough. THANKS to those who made suggestions, or helped out a wiring newbie. Someday soon I'll get it all installed in a much better case with a bit more room and cleaned up wiring. Right now Im just so pleased its a working machine!
