Cnc12 tool width?

Post by Scary »

Hi all,
I was wondering how you go about programming a qroove/parting tool in intercon. Do you have to mentally remember the tool width and compensate the width of the groove when programming or is there somewhere I can enter the width of the tool and have intercon work it out? The other reason is if I use the grooving tool to clean an arc profile (I understand it's not the best tool for this) as the tool goes over the center of the arc it will compensate to the other corner of the tool. Apologies if this is a simple question, I am new to intercon.
