Hello Everyone,
I am using acorn for last few years, its awesome, To make life easier, I would like to setup few hard switches for the indexer, i need to index the 4th axis mostly every 90deg for the inspection purposes, i have to run thru MDI to index, or i can setup the macro on the panel or on the wireless WMPG-4, but pretty much all the macros spots on the panel and WMPG-4 are full with other stuff,
Hard switches for the indexer
1. index at 0deg
2. index at 90
3. index at 180
4. index at 270
5. Confirmation switch
Idea is to have the control in auto mode running custom macro and wait for the input, let say i press number 2 switch then 5 switch i should index to 90 deg and wait for next command.
All ideas are welcome
thank you

Re: Indexer pre-defined position hard switches
What can't you use one sensor to home and then rotate to 90, 180 and 270? Seems a lot easier than trying to locate sensors as exact as you appear to need them.
