If you want Z to be above zero, instead of G0 X0 Y0 Z0 in your macro, just use G0 X0 Y0 Z0.1 or whatever height you wish.

For what its worth, the wireless pendent has the option for 4 push button macros, and this is what I use, and its great.
#1 slot is a G28 to get the machine back to home, #2 - XY = 0, #3 - Z =0
I just got my pendant yesterday but did not realize it requires Pro version of CNC12 need to upgrade, but yes was planning on using those buttons for that as well.

This is a revisit of this post, I want to set this up for my lathe now. Can I copy the mufun56 from my mill set up and just copy over to my lathe set up and just delete the y axis in the file? Are the files used for both mill and lathe written the same?

i lost track of what you are trying to accomplish on the Lathe? please describe what you want the VCP button to do.

Trick with Single Block mode to find out what Macro is being used for a particular VCP button.

I want to use M55 for the current tool to (GO TO X0, Z0) To verify my X0 z0 is at the correct location on the stock before I hit cycle start.
I would also like a single button to X0 and Z0 individually.
I will also map these to my MPG
