Yep It's there.

But SOB. I kept seeing this button "Work Envelope" It's never been mentioned in
any of the video's on setting up. It ask for the work envelope. So I put in my
travel limits. (i've tried everthing else) Lo and behold it now works like it supposed to now.

Why in the HECK has this not been mentioned before?
It has cost me 2 days of trying to figure this out. But
I learned other things along the way.
Thanks to all for your input.

G22/G23 – Work Envelope On/OffG22 turns on programmable work envelope in machine coordinates. When the machine tries to move into the
forbidden area, let’s say the x-axis, an “x-axis work envelope exceeded” message is displayed, letting you know
which line of the program is at fault. The work envelope is set with the X, Y, Z for the ‘+’ limit and I, J, K for the
‘–‘limit. G22 is modal and remains on until turned off by G23 or the end of the job. The limits entered in the X, Y,
Z and I, J, K parameters are stored in the WCS menu under F3 - Work Envel. For more information see chapter 4.

Ordinarily, the "Work Envelope" limits are not a factor.

It is a very rarely-used feature, which most users never need to set up.

Are you saying that you somehow (perhaps unknowingly) enabled work envelope checking (e.g. by running a G22 code); and that the resulting message was "907 _ axis travel exceeded", and not "... work envelope exceeded"?

Since G22 is reset at the end of each job, you would have to have a G22 code at the start of the job you are trying to run and you would also need to have non-zero values in the work envelope limits, in order to have the job cancel due to the work envelope. The CNC file you posted does not contain G22.

Can you run your job without error now?

If you now go back to the Work Envelope limits (F1/Setup -> F1/Part -> F9/WCS -> F3/Work Envel.) and change the limits all back to zero, and do not change anything else, can you still run your job without error?

It is much more likely that your original problem related to failure to set the G54 part zero at a suitable location.

I'm not sure whats going on. I removed the work envelope and it still ran.
But when I shut CNC12 down and re started it, it wouldn't run.
Still checking.

This is what I'm thinking is the problem. Setting part zero away from machine zero has been a problem for many beginners. Especially those who simple home their machine. I've been using my machine for about 2 years now and have retrofit several others and this is the first I've heard of a "work envelope" and I've never seen a button for it.

Like most, I have never found the need to use the envelope but can see it has it's uses in certain jobs.

Unless I am missing the point, the message "Error 907 axis nn exceeded" indicates an error with the User's WCS setting and not the Envelope settings which would surely generate a different error message.
Hope this helps

Envelope can be useful if you have a fixture mounted on the table you want to protect. For instance, a fourth axis that is mounted on the right side that is within the machines normal axis limits. With a work envelope set to exclude the device, you will get a warning when graphing a job if the program encroaches on the rotary area.
