You're welcome. FYI, there are a good number of other ShopBotters here that have done a DIY Acorn upgrade, a number of them using the Gecko 203

I had the 48v power supply hooked up wrong, but once I connected it to positive and negative..gecko lit up and cnc12 move x command started the motor right up! This is going to work..even on these old motors. All the videos and documentation have been a huge help so far. I was very worried when the shopbot motherboard died...and now, with this working, I feel in control again. Thanks for the help and links...
