Experience with Leadshine H2-758

Post by bbatarelo »

Hi all,

I have a 3axes milling setup with Acorn rev3 and Gecko G201X drives. Although everything works generally OK, that was still my first build of the cabinet, there are also some glitches, and I would like to rebuild it - this time with closed loop drivers/motors. Leadshine H2-758 drivers came to my attention as an interesting all in one solution with fan. Does anyone have experience with those? Should I be concerned about anything?

Also I am interested in potentially using DB25 interface this time. Does anyone know of a breakout board solution that works like 1x DB25 in to 3xDB25 out that would be compatible with Acorn's pinout? I understand that I'd probably need to mangle with pinout of the cables going to drives.

Many thanks,
Bruno
