tool offset lathe / touch probe

Post by Mathes »

Hello all,

I am really satisfied with the Acorn controller and my lathe, but my main issues are around the tool offsets.

Can someone give me an advice for test procedure to arrange a test method to avoid broken tools?
Yesterday I build me a own touch probe for the tools and after testing I crack a ID tool and I dont no why....

Thanks in advance

Search YouTube for this term "Setting up tools Centroid Lathe"

And always post a fresh report when asking for support. It has your logs and your machine configuration settings.
