Default Spindle Speed for Voltage Test
I didn't see that I needed to check the 0-10v when bench testing. Anyways, I have my setup mostly complete and am about to connect the spindle so thought it would be a good time! I went to do it and it errored out. So I went to check the max rpm in the wizard and it is set to 18000. I think it should be 3000. I don't remember changing it, but what are the default setting suppose to be, so I can check it. Honestly, I wouldn't mind just setting the entire acorn back to default, then going from there.

Re: Default Spindle Speed for Voltage Test
Centroid just released a brand new Acorn Installation Manual with all the bench test procedures in it. Here's a link, see section 4.2 starting on page 19. For the bench test, yes, you set it at 3000 which is the default. When you are done with the bench test set it to your spindles max speed.

Re: Default Spindle Speed for Voltage Test
If you are not actually running the bench test program and just wanting to check the full-scale output, disconnect any wiring from the analog output, and attach your multimeter leads to the Acorn analog output. Enter MDI and command M3 SXXXX where XXXX is the maximum spindle speed you have entered on the Setup/Control page. The analog output should be 10VDC.
Cheers,
Tom
