Jog increments

Post by rlaury »

Hi All:
I'm using Centroid Acorn on a PM-728VT with Clearpath servo's.
I've seen several video's where thy seem to mention a jog increment
of .0001. In my setup, the smallest increment I have is
.001". Is there a way to have .0001"? It would be handy to have
when using a touch probe and close work.

Thanks

Check parameter #40. It holds the control's basic jog increment size. Default is .0001" and will jog that amount with the X1 jog key.

Simplest and preferred method with Acorn is to use the Wizard - Go to the Axis configuration section and enter your requirement (i.e. 0.0001) in the x1 Linear Jog Increment box.

Whilst in the Wizard, also review the Touch Devices - Probe and change as required

hope this helps
