Yes, x has been moved to the 4th axis. ran it. Manually changed the DB25 settings back to original and testing again. Here is a picture of the completed re-wire. Also changed the computers ethernet port.

Still having a few issues with the VFD, not sure why. Definitely like the Geckodrive 214 better than the 201 on the Nema 34 motors.

I have noticed a few things since Windows 10 update and would like to know if anyone has a work around.
1. Windows Defender automatically comes back on after a certain time and restarts every time you reboot the computer.
2. I left a the computer running overnight while the machine was waiting for a tool change and CNC12 froze. Also steps had been lost.
3. The computer is not connected to the internet and all of the steps to set up for CNC12 have been implemented.

You can leave defender on, just let CNC12 through it. Usually you get the message when you first start CNC12 with defender on. Just check the boxes. Otherwise search letting an application through Defender.

I suspect the computer. Was the computer locked up?
Or were you able to close CNC12 with task manager?

By tool change, you mean a manual tool change?

Fresh report?

I was able to close CNC12 with task manager and restart it. That is when I realized it wasn't at zero anymore.
It was prompting for a manual tool change with ProbeApp installed when I left the machine for the night, hoping to pick up where it left off in the morning.
Errors around noon today where caused when Defender real-time protection turned itself back on.

I will add exceptions to the firewall and see if that helps.

Even with adding exceptions, it still causes problems.
