Once you have done that, you will have to email a FRESH report to diysales@centroidcnc.com so they can update and send you a new license

I was getting errors in my logs with the MPU requesting resends. I tried everything that I found on this forum. I solved the issue by using the USB to Ethernet adapter that came with my laptop. The problem went away and has not come back.

This is the first mention, I think, that you are using a laptop to run Acorn. Laptops can and do bring issues to CNC that dedicated PC's don't have.

Will a Laptop run Acorn, yes, but you may be fine for a while and then you have unexpected issues that you did not have before. So why is this?

Actually you'll have to read the post on PC's verses Laptops to see why. For one, Laptops, by default, turn off certain ports to save power at certain times. The ethernet port is one of them. USB ports can shut down unexpectedly as well. There is a way to make them not turn off if you know how.

I guess I should have been more specific. I don't use a laptop. I just used the adapter that came with it to resolve the issue I was having on my PC.

Still waiting for the Beagle Bone to arrive. I ran one program twice today. The first ran fine. The second was nothing but errors. Nothing had been changed. Confused as to what is happening. What other things could be going wrong?
