Re: The ghost is back in the machine
I looked at your error log. You can look at it by pressing F7 Utility, F9 Logs, F1 Errors
If you look at it, your errors come and go. The report you just posted shows a continuous slew of errors. This is the communication between the PC and Acorn via Ethernet.
You have to figure out what its causing it. Forgive me (you may have answered or done this( but have you tried a different PC yet? Different Ethernet shielded Ethernet cable? (Cheap on Amazon) Have you tried running the program without the spindle running and then checking the logs to see if the errors still persist? Post a picture of your control cabinet please?

Re: The ghost is back in the machine
Also, do make sure Acorn is on line before starting CNC12....

Re: The ghost is back in the machine
Another thing you can try, is a basic bench test.
Run a fresh report, save it in on the CNC PC Drive and a USB stick. Make a copy of the current CNC directory to your USB stick and make a copy on the C drive. In Windows file manager, right click on the CNCM directory, click COPY, then move away to an empty space in file manager and right click PASTE. After its finished, you should have CNCM - COPY. You have these as a back up
Power down Acorn/PC
Unplug all the connectors from Acorn except Power and Ethernet.
Start CNC12
CNC12 will likely be unhappy because it can't see certain inputs, like Drive fault. You can go into the Wizard and INVERT that input. For example if Drivefault input has a GREEN Input number, click the Input number to turn it read.
Then go into homing and set it from Home to Switch to Simple Home, Make notes or take screen shots before you make the changes so you can put them back after you are done testing.
Write the settings.
Restart CNC12
Press cycle start to home the control. (Simple home will home without moving the axis)
Load a program that has given you trouble.
Press cycle start so the program runs (Obviously you don't have inputs and outputs connected to the machine, so the machine will not move)
Let the program complete.
Go into your logs and see if the PC/MPU Resends still exist. If they do, then there is something wrong with Ethernet communications between the PC and Acorn. Since this has been an intermittent problem (the worst) run the program and other programs several times. Power down the PC and Acorn several times and repeat, all the while checking the logs after each program completion.
I the PC/MPU Resends seem to have disappeared, then its probably noise or a bad connection in the cabinet. Try plugging in connectors one at a time and re running the test above (leave axis drives off until last) Use care because now you are connecting inputs and outputs and step/dir signals again.
I hope you find its an Ethernet issue.
Just some suggestions to try and find the cause of the resends.
Once the communications errors have been resolved then you can go back to resolving anything else IF they exist.

Re: The ghost is back in the machine
Hi, I have trot a different computer. I have one left I can try. I have replaced the shielded ethernet cable with another shielded one. I have tried running a program without the spindle running. I have also tried running a program with a feedrate decrease of 20% .

Re: The ghost is back in the machine
I have disconnected all of the wiring and reinstall them one at a time, checking the logs, twice now without finding anything.

The new Beagle bone has arrived. It has been flashed and installed. Just waiting for my new key.

Re: The ghost is back in the machine
Here is the latest report. Things ran fine for 2 days and now errors again. I tried changing the wiring and setup for my tool height sensor and ran it again without the spindle on first. I received a mfunc46. error

Re: The ghost is back in the machine
Would a stepper create these kind of errors?
